OXPEKK® Product Line to Drive New Enterprise 10/25/00 New Britain, CT - The principals of Oxford Polymers have formed a new entity named Oxford Performance Materials, Inc (OPM). Oxford Polymers has transferred its high performance OXPEKK® product line from Oxford Polymers to Oxford Performance Materials. OXPEKK® is a family of materials based upon PEKK and blends thereof. The OXPEKK® family of products provides highly advanced materials solutions for firms within a diverse range of industries. Current markets under development include aerospace, medical, semiconductor and industrial. Scott F. DeFelice, formally Vice President of Marketing at Oxford Polymers is President and Chief Executive Officer of Oxford Performance Materials. “The OXPEKK® family of products are positioned to meet the needs of present and future most highly demanding material challenges. ahead,” said Mr. DeFelice. Key technical personnel working exclusively on the OXPEKK® product line are now employed by OPM. OPM will operate out of the Oxford corporate offices located in New Britain, CT. The Oxford Group of companies now consists of three separate entities. The founding entity, Oxford Industries, is an industrial marketing services firm operating principally within the aerospace sector. Oxford Polymers is a compounder of engineered thermoplastics supplying the automotive sector and a broad range of industrial markets.
