About Our Specialty Polymers and Polymer Composites Highest
Glass Transition Temperature (Tg)
OXPEKK is the highest Tg polyketone commercially available. Tg represents
the temperature at which the amorphous region enters a mobile phase.
Mechanical properties and chemical resistance degrade above Tg. Consequently,
if you need high temperature plastics for an extreme environment, the higher
the Tg the better.

crystallization rate of OXPEKK and improved materials flow
In low-cost materials, where cycle times are critical, fast-crystallizing
materials are often very desirable. In higher performance materials,
yield is often a more important consideration. Slower crystallizing
and improved flowability of OXPEKK result in lower molded stress
and better dimensional control.
